Help with a Netherland Dwarf Baby Rabbit?

Ok so I'm helping my friend out with her 9 week old Netherland Dwarf Baby rabbit. She had bought him at 5 weeks old (I know that's too young to take away from his mother) we noticed he was thin and wouldn't eat so my Dutch rabbit took him in with the litter she had, so then he started picking up weight by 7 weeks so I sent him back home with my friend. 2 weeks later at 9 weeks she noticed he started loosing weight so since I don't java anymore rabbits who are nursing we want to try him on Goats Milk, Heavy Cream, Timothy Hay and some crimped oats once a day to help him with his weight and the nutrition he needs. Is there anything else we could give him to help?

... he also has half a lip and we didn't know if that would be part of the problem and he's half the size of his litter mate so I'm thinking he may be a max factor.. Please no negative comments...

Thanks! :)

Hi - it sounds like he might have some problems other than just keeping on weight. He very likely could have an underlying genetic issue or digestive problem that's preventing him from thriving. Health problems in rabbits always have to be caught early, so you should take him to a vet for an analysis. It sounds like at this point there's no other option but medical help, as you can't internally diagnose him on your own. Good luck!

he might have worms and that's why he is loosing weight you can give him a very very small dose of horse wormer you can buy at any farming store and the lip could be a problem too also Netherlands have weird genes I breed them I should know and sometimes you get faders were they seem like they're doing fine but bam they go down hill there's nothing you can do about it and they end up dying he sounds too old for it normally it happens at 4weeks but with the mutations it could be sorry
