If I'm the Knicks, I do it in a New York Minute.
If I'm the Pacers, no way. I can get much better than that for my expiring contract. Especially if in a few months Granger is able to come back and play reasonably well.

the Knicks would be taking on a player with the same skill set as Carmelo, but worse and injury prone. Plus Granger is gonna eat up a ton of cap space. the Pacers don't need to make this move, so they have all the leverage. the best thing for Indiana would be to trade Danny for draft picks.
