How do you delete emails?

I used to be able to check the emails I wanted to delete and no matter how many I checked they all deleted at the same time. Now I can't find how to do this. I have been deleted them one at a time and when you have over a hundred that takes  too much time. So how do I do it more than one at a time? And my spam or trash doesn't delete more than one at a time. Please help!!!

You have two options, choose whichever seems easiest

To delete all in one step

Click the box of the first message

Scroll down to the last message

Shift click the box

Click the Delete tab and OK

OR

Click the tiny box at the top of the list

Then the delete tab and OK deletes 50 messages

Repeat until done

Hi. Friend, 

In your yahoo mail account show tool bar on the top side, here right corner shows a check box for select all the mail. If you want to delete all mail then you can use this option. Otherwise show a check box right corner of the mails you can also select this box for deleting particular mail. I think it is the best solution for your query.
