    actually as little as possible. What a lender will require depends on your credit but if you have good enough credit then you want to put as little as possible down. Why put alot of money into a depreciating asset if you dont have to?

    as much as possible. the less you have to borrow, the less interest you have to pay and you could make the term of the loan shorter.
