question is.. if there are such foods that u must have permission to eat due to a religion.. should the religion be allowed? how many women get tortured and killed because of islam.. yet you all worry about what food to eat and where to buy it? you should get some perspective and realize you have been fed lies that your family and friends believe to be truth but are just stories created out of convenience and fear hundreds of years ago. You really should question your religion. Until you do, innocent people will continue getting beheaded and stoned to death for no reason.. all because of Islam. allahu akbar right?.. right. God Is Not Real.. pick up a few biology textbooks.. and get to learn how the world came to be by the forces of nature. You Are Not Being Watched, now go and be a good person.

Yes its allowed but I wouldn't eat it. It's black and looks disgusting.
All kinds of food from the sea are permissible, whether they are plants or animals, alive or dead. Allaah says “Lawful to you is (the pursuit of) water-game and its use for food – for the benefit of yourselves and those who travel…” (al-Maa’idah 5:96).
