is this website safe for credit card use?

Im looking at ordering some parts. As I run the checkout section I noticed there is no green padlock in my address bar and the site (authorize.net) they use for processing. I have never heard of it. Just wondeirng if anyone can tell me more about it. I visited the website and it does not have the green padlock either.

Always make sure a website is using HTTPS (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_Secure - visible in the address bar of your browser by either a lock at the right or left or a green background in the address bar) before giving important/sensitive information to a website like credit card information.

If that isn't the case, it's most likely a scam, so don't use it.

Unfortunately, there are still online shops that don't use HTTPS... :/
