Physics question about current. Conceptual, please help me!?

Please help me with this question:

An inductor with a 2.0 A current stores energy. At what current will the stored energy be twice as large?

    The energy stored in an inductor is

    W = (1/2)LI^2

    So the stored energy is proportional to the square of the current.

    To store twice as much energy would require √2 times the original current. So if you started with 2 amps, you would need to increase the current to 2√2 = 2.828 amps to double the stored energy.
