What do you say when you don't have a wide range of vocabulary?

I know you say "my grammar isn't the greatest" when you use the wrong form of 'there' or 'your' but what do you say when you don't know big words like 'congeniality' or 'terminology'

The usual phrase would be that you don't have a very advanced or extensive vocabulary.

You've got to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative and don't mess with mister in between. Well, that's what Bing said.

By the analogy you gave, you might say: my VOCABULARY isn't the greatest; or my vocabulary is limited.

Just say "I'm a great big dumbass" it gets the message across.

You could say, 'Hmm... I think I'll go to word-a-day -- or something like that -- and look into it.....'
