My feet hurt when I run?

I have recently started running on a treadmill to get into better shape. I don't run everyday, just one day on, then one off. I like to try and run for around 20-30 min on a low speed to where I'm a just jogging. (So around 5-6 on the number keys) I wear Under Armour running shoes and thought that wearing Nike Elite basketball socks might help cushion the pain but they don't help. Nearly all around my foot I have pain after running for about a minute or and minute and a half straight. The shoes also fit me size wise so that can't be an issue. I believe that I don't have flat feet, I think I have a normal arch. Please help!

You have to first consider your weight...then the shape of your feet, some foot wear store have specialist that can give you basic test to what kind of shoes fit you best. Its not normal for your feet to hurt when your only running 20-30 mins. Another reason could be your weight. If your overweight your ankles might be taking too much stress. In this case most specialist would advice you to take up swimming because its safer. Due to the fact that you will be applying alot less stress to your feet.

Before running, you may want to do some exercises ESPECIALLY your feet. That may help.

    Hope you feel better!
