Question about dreams?
Ok, so once in a while I am in bed trying to fall asleep, I usually have these really short dreams. They are completely random, they make zero sense. I realize I'm dreaming but I don't know if I'm awake or not. After about 15 seconds I stop dreaming and wake up, then I completely forget about every detail of my dream right when I open my eyes. Also I don't think this is lucid dreaming because when I have these I am not able to control them. What's this called? I'm curious.

It sounds like your subconscious is just running through the business of the day and putting final touches on your minor concerns so that you can get a good night's sleep. You don't remember the dreams perhaps because the problems have been solved or they are just not very interesting.
It's a wonderful service the subconscious does for us. It tries to smooth out our complicated daytime thoughts so that we can relax and sleep well.
If it's working, for goodness sakes, don't fix it!
