Can you help me with these math questions?

1. -5=v-12

(please show work)

2. 2(y-6+=3y+12-y

3. -19.8 is greater than or equal to 3.6y

4.b/8 >-1/5

5. 5(p+2)-2(p-1) is equal to or greater than 7p + 4

    1. add 12 to both sides to isolate v: -5=v-12 ---> v = 7

    2. i don't really know how do to that because it's a bit confusing...

    3. -19.8 is greater than or equal to 3.6 y: subtract 3.6 on either side: y is less than or equal to -23.4.

    4. multiply 8 on each side: b > -1/5 times 8, which is b > -8/5.

    5. distribute five into p+2 and -2 into p-1: 5p + 10 - 2p + 2 is greater than or equal to 7p + 4.

    combine like terms: 3p + 12 is greater than or equal to 7p + 4.

    subtract 4 from each side: 3p + 8 = 7p.

    subtract 3p from each side: 8 = 4p.

    divide 4 from each side: p = 2.
