wedding ring price problem?

I propossed almost 1 year ago. I gived her stainless steel ring, and she thinks that it is made of white gold. I didn't said her about my finance problems. Now we planning a wedding and I think we should make it cheaper and small (only family members). The wedding will be on my parents apartments, apprentice priest will go by himslef (he will take only 10 bucks). Honeymoon is planned in folk-rock festival (I got free tickets), Should I or my fiance buy some flowers? I haven't gived her any and I don't know how should I begin.

But also, the biggest problem is wedding ring. I have bought already a copper ring and will buy some gold-shinny paint and will spray it on the ring in my work. How long will the paints last (I also will buy the cheapest paint)? How often I need to repaint it? Or should I only pollish it? Will she notice, that ring is fake-golden? Would she be verry mad at me if she will found out about the ring?

Thank you, for your answers, and time. If I get many money, I will invite you..

We got a tungsten ring 3 years ago from http://www.tungstenfashions.com/ and it looks like White Gold. It was only $45.00 bucks.

I would try that or go to a local store and see what they can do. But go with tungsten, you will be really happy and they look super expensive and last a lifetime.

I hope that helps, sounds like you guys are going to have an awesome wedding either way! Congrats!

You need to have the money talk.

Starting a marriage with a lie like that is only going to cause problems down the road.

A week ago you wanted to know how to approach women because you were shy. So I'm thinking you're trolling. If you're not, you know lying to the person you're supposed to love most in the world is completely wrong, and you're being a total cheapskate. If you can't afford a ring, you can't afford to be married. What are you going to do when she wears the ring constantly and notices it turning her finger green because you can't get it off her to paint it in secret? She's going to be very upset that you lied to her.
