I'm looking for a an old pc game.?
I played this game a lot when i was younger and it was on an XP OS. Here is the thing, i remember the title "MYST". I know the popular series MYST is like a first person puzzle game, but so was this. The thing is this one was a bit different. You started out near a mansion/large house, ended up in said mansion/large house and ended up finding your friend who owned the house in the top floor of the garage. this was somewhat of a scary game. It could of been a expansion/standalone type deal. i specifically remember the cd, it was in big black letters that said MYST and it was a light blue/cyan cd what appeared to be water. the start up had a creek with running water and a leaf that fell into the water. it was one of the producers or developers logo. If someone knows this start up screen for the developer/producer then that's a HUGE help! i could find the games they made and hopefully find it that way. well i guess any info would help though. Thanks for any help in advance!!

I think you may be combining a few memories here. The actual, well-known Myst has a CD that perfectly matches your description. It's interesting to note that you say it was Cyan colored, and the game was produced by Cyan. The game you've described is not any of the Myst games, that much is certain. The game you've described sounds very much like Amerzone. Here is the part that it sounds like you've described: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGkhmRUKpEQ The beginning of the game has you on a street outside a house. You enter the house and find the owner, who promptly dies. The startup logo reminds me of the old Westwood Studios logo, but upon further review, it is not. I'm afraid I can't identify the game, but the game that you've described, and the logo attached to it, are absolutely not one of the Myst games. My guess is the old Windows 3.1 CD wasn't protected, and someone copied this game over it.
