Is there a Windows 8.1, IE 11 and Calendar workaround?

I asked Microsoft forums for some help with Windows 8.1 and IE 11 and the Yahoo Calendar since it will not display. The suggestion of going to Developer tools and changing it from Edge mode to IE 10 works! I can view my Yahoo calendar with 8.1 and IE 11. However it does not stick, so I must do this each time. Does Yahoo have a work around for this situation? It is possible for the calendar to show up with changing the compatibility through developer tools located by clicking on the gear icon.

Update:

The solution that works with Windows 7 of adding it to the compatibility view does not work with Windows 8.1.
