How do I prevent a bent nail from breaking?
A nail almost broke yesterday and is now bent and ready to break. What can I put on it so it doesn't break? My nails are natural. Thanks for your help.

to prevent my nails from breaking i would use nail polish (1 layer base coat, two coats colour, one layer fast dry top coat)
If my nail has a crack in it and its about to break, I would apply nail glue to the area, cut a piece of a tea bag (the paper) and place it on the cracked area, apply some more nail glue to the area and let it dry. When it dries, I would buff the top of the nail to make it smooth and then put nail polish over it to hide the paper. (it stays on for about a week or so, when it comes off just do it again).

There is nail glue, does not always work though. Sometimes I can find nail mender, with a nylon mesh stuff and glue, that works better. Try CVS or Walgreens.

For some strange reason I was thinking a nail like one you put in wood. DUH! I was going to say don't hammer it. haha.
Actually, there is nail mender that you can get from the store that might help. If you don't want to get that I would try lots of layers of clear coat nail polish to strengthen it.
