I have a few questions about Y!A?

Why won't they allow some answers through, even if there is nothing offensive about them? This has happened to me twice, on different days. DOES Y!A candor an offensive answer, and what would it consider to be offensive?

Where is Google translate? In the languages room, I often see people mention it.

Update:

That's "censor" an offensive answer. This auto-correct for spelling has its own issues.

Some answers aren't allowed "through" because they have too many links in them, they exceed the character limit, they have special characters that trigger an error, or the question has been removed by the time the answer is being posted. This is different than answer being REMOVED, though.

Answers get removed after being reported for breaking the rules of the site. There are a LOT of rules here, not just to avoid being offensive. So you may want to check those a bit if you are having problems with things getting reported.

As to google translate, this is a direct link:

The reporting system is automated and user based. If you've had answers removed its because other users reported it, thus the inconsistency in what is offensive and in what is taken down verse left up.

Google translate auto appears at the top of the page in chrome when a language other than the system language is displayed on the page.
