I need healp with Java? It's not there!?
I have gone to java.com so many times but it just won't install. I can see it in my downloads but I can not install it.
Help!!
I did not double click at first but since have. What I have in my download file right now are two things:
jre-745-windows-1586 and Java Setup 7 u 45 (2)
The first is the largest size.
If I double click on either now I get a message that Java already exists
Control Pane Add Remove Programs have 2 Java Programs listed there
Java 7 Update 45 and Java 7 Update (64 bit)
Neither will help my husband and his games

If Java exists, go to search and Type it up...
I mean Java is an extremely beneficial program, but you don't need any use of Java itself... it just runs MANY other programs...
I'm guessing you want to program/run something complex in a website (video-like demonstrations) on which case you should run those...

After you download it, are you double clicking it in your downloads to start the install?
It sounds like you have that version installed already. If you go to Control Panel, then add/remove programs, do you see a version of Java there? If so what version?
Edit: I would suggest uninstalling both versions of Java that are listed and reinstalling Java. After uninstalling them, go to www.java.com and download from there and see if that helps.
