Church tried to strike deal over abuse investigations. This was a national news station.?

News is mostly regional. We have had this stuff going on where I live. In fact the Catholic Church here was just pressured to release the names of about 34 priests who had sexually abused children. It really is outrageous. They are looking at possible criminal violations, and claims for civil damages will follow.

The outrageous thing is also that church management tried to keep everything a secret, and never fixing the problems.

They will need to settle each civil case, and it is going to cost the church big money to do so. Settling civil cases is not the same as sweeping it under the rug. Most cases are settled out of court.

Sleazy priests have been screwing little boys for the past 1700 years.... it's just now that somebody has said something about it. So they have a LONG history of sweeping this under the rug.

It would help if you had some information to back up your scandalous report that includes no links or video to support it.
