The Bible is not a single book, but, a collection of them. The very word "Bible" comes from "biblios" or library. So, there is no single writing in it that references the whole thing. In fact, the newest book in the Bible was already over 200 years old when the Bible was put together.
However, there are several places where the veracity of the particular book is given. Yes - this does happen, most especially with John's writings.

The Bible tells a bunch of true things. If you wish others to believe something that would otherwise be seen as a lie, if you add a bunch of true things to it, then others may believe you. If I was traveling and noticed an old city in ruins, I could say that it was my god who destroyed it because the people where evil. In reality, the city may have just been abandoned for other reasons and fell to ruin on their own. But, when I tell of my god and tell them my story, seeing the ruin city makes it sound like it must be true, after all, the city is in ruins.

THe Bible and the Koran have equal amounts of truth (ie, none other than a few coincidences by middle eastern humans writing their thoughts hundreds of years ago.)
