How sane you reckon you are?

What fun would that be?

What is sanity? What determines sanity? Is sanity something that can be measured? If so, with what? A sanitometer? We have no objective standard by which to judge sanity or lack thereof, only mass opinion. 'Sanity' is the few charicteristics that the majority of people on this world consider to be correct and most people fall somewhere short of this. Some fall shorter than others, I'd say I fall shorter than many, but not as short as some. However from a personal, subjective point of view - looking out at the state of humanity and what most people consider to be sane, normal behavior... I'd rather pass on it.

It's all relative really, I get from one chaotic day to another eventually.

One can love the pursuit of wisdom and indoctrinate many investigations in this meaningful investigation of self discipline and development.

If this is done in a way that appears haphazard to others they may well think one to be 'off the wall' or deluded to a degree.

but then are we not all to some extent?

The thing is.. How can I tell? If I go by the next person, I may be as crazy as all heck, but then again I could be the sanest person you would ever meet. What precisely IS sane.

I say that I'm only sane enough to cover my insanity in front everyone else. Alone and free, I am a nonsensical thing. Pitiable and frothing. Insanity is my main composition. :3

you can't measure critical thinking and judgement. high critical thinking doesn't mean sound judgement but it helps.

the more you are informed, the better you can judge. this makes the powerful to have all information under their control. this is where your sanity goes under. as we don't know what's happening, as we don't have time to know them all, for the sake of sanity, we should accept our destiny - in the hands of the powerful. we are fed with some information and not fed with other necessary information; this means our idea becomes what they want.

If you are really clever enough, you can guess it from my answer. Philosophize everything. Then only you will get the correct clue. As a true philosopher, I never underestimate the potential powers of people in general.
