Anyone so discouraged by Christmas that you're not decorating this year?

No. I just want my presents to be gathered up and sent off to where my relatives live and sent off to my friends because I am thinking a lot about myself this year and what I want. I have made an effort to choose gifts that everyone will love but in general I feel tired and a bit over the whole year itself and ready to start afresh. It's not like me to feel this way, but the fact is that I do for now. We probably won't decorate but we will give each other nice gifts.

I do Christmas my own way. We don't exchange a lot of gifts, and the ones we do exchange are simple and inexpensive. I limit the number of Christmas social events I attend. I do like to decorate because I can enjoy the decorations in my own home. Just take control of the holiday and make it what you want without getting bogged down by obligations.

Yeah i've been in that feeling, feeling down adn not up for decorating, but as long as you have the stuff, maybe try thinking about hte good things about hte holiday and thatll help you focus on the future and you will be able to have hope for better years to come
