Should I be embarrassed if I'm bad at art?

Question

OK so I'm a guy in college learning skills on mechanical electrical technology and in order to get any degree, general ed and electives are required. I already enrolled for classes and just recently decided to add an art class to change it up a bit. I hear there are very few men in art classes. Thinking over my decision a bit more, I never considered myself good at art by any means. As a guy might I embarrass myself in front of a bunch of women if my sketches are chicken scratch? Part of the reason I enrolled for art was to see if I could improve my skills, but perhaps most people enroll in art because they like art or have a skill at it.

Don&#x27;t worry about it, I would still go along with it. 
No matter how old you are, maybe it will be helpful in the future! You could learn some helpful tips:)
Still, there are SOME boys in the class!
I like a boy who tries at art even though he is not the best at it:)

Yeah it's an interesting gender shift...artists were usually always male up until last the two centuries or so when women began to have more freedom in society. But now, I notice the fine arts are often female dominated. 
I'm sure there will be *some* guys there too :P Don't worry, everyone will be there to improve their skills just like you. I study fine arts and, ay my art school, there are people of many different skill levels, but everyone is supportive of each other because everyone is there for the same reason...to explore art, to have fun, to improve their skills :) You see, it will be ok :)

Besides, some of the most famous artists can't draw for **** ;)
