SRS wiring issues: the previous owner of my car had clipped the srs wiring to the passenger airbag. I recently?
went to the junk yard to get the missing wiring he threw away. I spliced the two wires together. That is the set of wires from my car to the set of wires i got from the junk yard, which finally connected to my passenger air bag. It was only two grey wires that needed connecting. However my SRS light is still on.
Is it because i wired it wrong?
Do I need to reset the SRS light even though it's fixed(if it really is fixed)?
Or does it have to do something with the fact that the manual says to never repair or splice cut SRS wiring, replace the whole wiring unit...blah blah blah

The SRS constantly checks itself and will turn the light as soon as the problem is fixed. Yours simply isn't fixed. Get the trouble code read and then you'll know. Otherwise we're just guessing
