because stupid people think its real, without thinking, hey, a secret organization would kill anyone that was dumb enough to talk about it so it could stay secret.

Because conspiracy theories are cool and fun and mysterious and whatnot, and referencing them is fun.

On a semi-unrelated note, the sign of the horns has nothing to do with the Illuminati.

Rappers like Dwayne and Jay-Z make Illuminati gestures only to create more controversies about themselves.

If the Illuminati exist, they don't want to give their existence away by responding to what people say publicly about them, whether it's true or not.

i used to believe its real but know i realize they just using this as way to attract more attention which means more money..they just want to make controversy with stuff like that to get the media exposure
