I am such a hypocrite... some years ago I realized that I am a sex addict and today I relapsed horibbly. help!?

My husband has a terrible porn addiction and so I work hard to understand why he does it. First of all you're not a terrible person. Porn releases endorphins. If you don't know what those are go for a long run. They're natural hormones that make you feel AWESOME. You are not addicted to sex, you're addicted to feeling good. My husband is addicted to feeling good so I deal with drugs and him flirting (also endorphin releaser)on top of the porn. My friend gave me a book that she read. it's written from the point of view if someone in my shoes that hurts and thinks it's her fault and it helps ppl deal. She read it because sure wanted to know how it hurt those around her. It helped. When you're going for a relapse think of the people it effects and try going for a walk. Find new ways to create endorphins. You'll feel much better about yourself. I'm relieved to know there are men that actually regret looking at porn. I wish mine did. I hate being second to online lesbians. Good luck!

Not trolling. If you really have an addiction you should try to find a woman to have in your life. She will be better than anything on the internet.

nature makes all humans sex addicts , it's why we have overpopulation , you may have a high sex drive and not be getting enough sex it is impossible to say how much is too much
