Do people who wear baseball hats as a trend annoy you?

Question

You know those bandwagoners who wear baseball hats just because a certain artist or celebrity wears the teams hat or likes the team? Like Jay-Z, he started wearing a Yankee hat, and now everyone likes the Yankees just because of the hat. They couldn't even name a single player. Or like recently when Green Day pitched at an Oakland A's game, and now their fan base suddenly likes the A's and they wear A's hats, just because Billie Joe likes the team. It just annoys me because it shows you have little respect for the team and what they have done in baseball history, you have more respect for the design and color. Does this upset anyone else?

Well Jay-Z is a Yankee fan and he was born in the bronx if i believe. but everything now is of trend you just have to get used to it

Life is far too short for me to care one iota about the reasons someone may be wearing some hat.  So no.

Sports caps or hats are made to be worn by those who like them - fans, bandwagoners, whatever.  Why it would annoy anyone is beyond me.

Wearing a cap backwards still strikes me as -- not wrong, but just silly, I suppose. The bill serves a purpose -- if you just wanna cover your head, there are other options better suited. The backwards cap is too affected.

not really.... but I do wonder why, at some point, schools started teaching kids that their heads will likely explode if they put on a hat after removing the "New Era" stickers on the bills....

Not nearly as much as people who feel it is their job to decide who has the "right" to wear a particular piece of clothing and for what reason.
