What am I suffering from?
I don't think this is normal, but I feel embarrassed and
ashamed over everything about me. I've done a lot of
embarrassing stuff in my life but it's really starting to
affecting to the point where I don't feel like going out of my
bed cause I'm too shamed.
however, the worst thing is when I constantly imagining
embarrassing stuff that hasn't even happened to me yet I feel
so ashamed. What is it? I think it's normal people thinking
about stupid stuff they've done in the past, but not to this
extent. I think about 99% of the time and it really saddens me.

You might have an OCD (Obsessive compulsive disorder) you should google on that disorder sometimes and look at the symptoms then compare them to yours.
I always think about my past, but the stuff that's happened to me and I know I should let it go but I never do sooooo. I don't know what it is but you should talk about it to someone who is really close to you or pay a visit to your local doctor.
I really hope you're healthy and if not, then I hope you get a suitable cure for whatever you're going through. :)<3

Hi. I'm no expert, but I do know OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and I think your symptoms sound a lot like it. I tend to worry tooooo much about what could happen. My brain will also randomly pick things to over-think about. And, like you said, its normal to imagine certain things, but it feels like your brain is going to the extreme... thinking about it all the time! Its always good to talk to someone you trust. Let them know your thoughts. My sister always helps me to know when I'm just overthinking. Then I tell myself "Ok, my brain is doing it again, I'm going to ignore it." Yup, you ignore your thoughts. They are obsessive, they are not realistic.
You said you've done embarrassing things in the past. Well, we all do! I dont' know what kind of things you mean, but if its honest mistakes, you have to stop being hard on yourself. But if its faults in your personality, like saying the wrong thing at the wrong time or making someone feel bad, lying or any serious thing like that. You just need to re-program your thoughts. Instead of thinking "Oh no, I've done so many embarrassing things, and I keep doing them. What if I do something worse today or tomorrow and people point fingers at me..." STOP.... change that to "Yeah, I've made mistakes before, but its in my power to change that. I will be more careful today. I'm going to think before I speak." and if its little things, like spilling the coffee or tripping, say "I'm gonna laugh about it, because it happens to everyone. It doesn't make me a dumb person. I'm sure even the President trips and spills things sometimes."
I've always enjoyed reading the Bible and in Proverbs 24:16 says "For the righteous one may fall seven times, and he will get up again." Yes, we are all bound to fall, to do something wrong, but the point is getting up! Not letting it keep us down. The Bible also says there is NOBODY perfect in the world. These thoughts have helped me not to be too hard on myself and have motivated me to work on my personality. You can beat it!
Visit the website I pasted below. There are so many articles about being a good listener, being kind, generous, patient, how to build your self esteem and so many other good things to learn about. That information has helped me since I was a little girl.
I hope this helps :)
