7th month old lab help?
My dog is a chocolate lab and is 7 months old we've had him since March and I love him but we just don't have control over him. He loves to bite but when we say no he just starts bark because he's upset I don't know what to do he is huge and could really hurt somebody he just wants to play but doesn't understand we say no for good reason. We have raised a spoiled puppy that loves to play and well when he doesn't get what he wants he throws a temper tantrum what can we do.

You can do what you should have done months ago - get yourselves into obedience classes. This dog needs training and you need someone qualified to teach you how to do it.

I have had two beagle pups that loved to chew and bite. A way to make a puppy understand he is hurting you (whether or not the bite actually did hurt) is to yelp just like puppies do when they are hurt. Pull your hand or whatever part of you he bit close to your body and turn away from him and ignore him for a few moments. This will communicate to him that biting HURTS!
As for him being spoiled, that's simple. You need to lay down ground rules and be very consistent about making sure they are followed. Discipline the same way every time, whether that means just a stern no, or a spray of water to the face. Just make sure he knows the rules and praise him when he follows them.

Yep. Obedience classes. He's at the perfect age. My classes have always been full of Labs.
