When I try to play an .avi Video file, Blackberry Desktop tries to load. How do I stop it?
I formerly had a Blackberry, and installed the Desktop software. I have since gone to droid, and uninstalled the BBC Desktop. Now, when I try to play an .avi Video file, it prompts to load the BBC Desktop.
What can I do to rid my machine completely of anything Blackberry. (I have tried uninstalling from Windows Programs, but it fails.)
Thanks,
Steve Clark

Hi, it looks like Blackberry software is set as default for opening avi files.
Try to right-click on the file and then choose the program with which you now want your files to be opened.
And you can also check the Box: "Always use the selected program to open the files of this type"
I guess the program will be fixed.
