Is double majoring hard?

I'm in love with fashion and want to be a designer and/or a fashion merchandiser, but my insists I have a backup plan, so I also love business, would it be hard to major In both for college?

Do not spend too much energy on fashion/design as it will only lead you into retail. Choose business as your major and fashion as an elective. Good Luck

I think in a sense they would go hand in hand. You would be smart to have a backup plan because it isn't likely you will flourish in fashion no matter how good you are or how much you love it. Celebrities are taking over with their fashion lines which I think is total crap because they do not create their lines they just stamp their name on it. I am not saying you won't succeed but I think that back up plan is a great idea and it shouldn't be too hard because fashion merchandiser and business go together.

In terms of coursework, probably not, since those particular majors complement each other well and there's a good chance you'll be able to double-count certain classes. The real trick is going to be finding a school that offers strong programs in both.
