Roads in heaven made out of gold, why not diamond?

God doesn't seem to have a budget in the design of heaven so why not go all out?

I think it was easy for heaven dwellers to make road by gold. Just melting the gold and spreading the melt to get a beautiful road.

Oppositely in case of diamond, I think, they could not find proper cementing material that would match with diamond crystals to make a beautiful road.

Gold is available all over the place, diamonds are much rarer and in brilliant cuts that sparkle are much newer than the Bible, really old ones looking like a quartz stone and even those several hundred years old don't gleam much.

Being able to afford either suggests that he's been involved in some very shady business practices, either that or he's the one collecting the tax so he builds ostentatious things with everyone else's money for himself just like the government do, and the churches before them.

Actually the roads in heaven are made out of p*ssy. That way they'll never wear out.
