Protagonist who pretend to be weak?
I'm trying to find fantasy novels where the protagonist is actually very strong, but pretend to be weak or actually very smart pretend to be fool. Something like name of the wind and hurog bone.
I'm looking for novels, not comic books (as most of super heroes fulfill the above role)
By protagonist, actually I mean main character

The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner
This is a very slow moving novel, but it is worth the read, as are the other books in the series.
Moorehawke Trilogy by Celine Kiernan
Christopher is a lot more than he pretends to be.
The Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind
There is one character who turns out to be more than expected. But the revelation happens pretty early into the first book.

"Zorro" The son of the family returns to 19th century Mexico from his education in Spain. He affects to be a worthless playboy, but he is actually the masked swordsman who fights against the tyrannical local governor.
"The Scarlet Pimpernel" During the French revolution, about 1790, the son of an English noble family travels frequently to France to rescue Frenchmen condemned to the guillotine by the Terror. The chief agent of the Terror little suspects that the foppish Englishman is the Scarlet Pimpernel--until he spots the telltale flower on the family coat of arms.
They seek him here; they seek him there.
The Frenchies seek him everywhere.
Is he in heaven, or is he in hell?
That damned elusive Pimpernel!
