Unites States Mel Nutrition?

Has anybody noticed that even the most over weight people in America suffer from Mel Nutrition?

I have been finding that most Americans don't realize they suffer from vitamin deficiency, or are low on Iron etc...

I was watching Dr oz today and he was saying that Vitamin D helps relieve inflammation. On another occasion he said it also helps regulate a hormone that relates to depression. It also helps in bones. And even helps us burn fat. Hmm... And more people lack vitamin D than people think. There are so many people diagnosed with things that a better diet may help correct.

Iron is also another one for myself and a lot of women. There are other deficiencies that play a role in our health. There are so many vitamins and minerals that we may lack in our diet and not know it. But taking a multi vitamin every day can throw off our PH balance. I have found this out first hand. After a few days of taking the same multi vitamin, I feel really run down.

Any way it would be good for people to get some good medical lab work done to see what each individual is lacking in there diet. Or see a nutritionist to go over our diet and make some changes. There are so many processed foods. That can't be real good for us.

It would be great if everyone could have lab work to see what vitamin or mineral they need. The insurance companies would not allow this as it would be too expensive. To qualify for lab work the doctor has to have a valid ICD code (given by the doctor and used for billing) based on signs and symptoms the patient is exhibiting.

There is a wealth of info on the web about what is healthy and what is bad for you. Many people don't care and just want to eat what tastes good to them and are too lazy to cook decent meals. Others can't afford to cook healthy meals and are relying on food banks.

You can alert your family members on your info from the Dr. Oz show and hope they follow your suggestions.

The word you're trying to use is malnutrition, not mel nutrition.

And I would suggest that being obese does not necessarily mean you are getting all the nutrients that you need from food. Being obese means that you are regularly consuming more calories than you burn up. Someone could eat nothing but Big Macs and fries and be the size of a house, but be severely lacking in the basic vitamins and minerals their body needs.

Anyhoo... you've not really asked a question, more made a comment.

Yes I have noticed . Its because most americans are eating junk plain and simple . Too much sugar and stuff you cant even pronounce and who know what its doing to your body and mind ! Then we are not eating tons of fruits or veggies! The solution is simple eat LOTS of fruits veggies beans legumes drink half a gallon of water a day STOP with all the sugar and processed crap , and heres a novel idea === fast . Yeah go a meal or two with out eating during the week and just have water or juice some fresh fruits and or veg instead ! Its soooo simple but we have been programmed to eat poorly in the West . If you grew up eating good clean food I salute your parents . Its really sad that Americans are so obese and malnutritioned at the same damn time . WOW

Lol. I don't think the US goverment will "ever" appoint Mel Gibson as an ambassador to Israel, and I doubt if Mel Gibson will accept it. He's sorry about the incident, though. And, he's making a new film now.. the passion of Hezbollah.
