Statistics question about t-tests?
I am trying to write a paper about a research question. The 2 groups, one sorority women, the other non sorority women. they were both asked a yes/no question if they have an eating disorder. both groups have 25 participants, of the non sorority i have 3 that said yes, of the sorority i have 7 that said yes. I have only done t tests that have a set of numbers, say 25 numbers from each group. How do i set a t test with just asking a yes/no question, thank you

Look at the proportion.
See the second example in the reference given below. Test if more than 50% (or some other percentage) of each group has an eating disorder. For the sorority group p-hat would be 7/25. For the non-sorority group it is 3/25.
OR
You can test to see if there is a difference between the populations. See the second reference.
Hope this helps.
