Why did my mom do all of this?
My mother spent the last half of my fall semester in college interrupting almost every ******* second of my study time. She said I could study at our dinner table, but all she does is ask me stupid **** like if I want to eat, or she tells me random details about her day. I have told her a million times to not interrupt me, but she kept fricking doing it, and it showed up on my report card because I had anywhere from 50-60 hours of school-related work to do, and to get distracted from all of that was absolute hell to reverse.
Why couldn't my mom just notice me attentively working and leave me alone, and not say anything? All she frickin did was interrupt me, and then get louder if I ignored her and kept working.

You're in college - you need to learn some basic life skills - like apparently you are unable to study in the dining room when other people share your home - study in your room and sit down and have a conversation with your mom that if you're in your room studying then you are trying not to be interrupted unless someone is bleeding or unconcious. If you're in the kitchen/living/family room - you're open game for talking - if you're not in a common area - make an agreement that communication is off-limits - or off-limits from 5pm-11pm. The best solution would be to dorm...if your family can't afford that - use that as part of your negotiating with your mom about limits - as if you were living on campus you wouldn't have this issue. You might also try going to a library to study...physically separate your spaces. But if you don't communicate with your mom effectively - she's going to continue to irritate you and not even be aware that she's doing so. Pretend you're living with your future spouse - because these are the kinds of things you need to learn to work out if you ever want to have one.

Maybe she wants to have a relationship with you. Just give a little but if your time then go back to studying.
