Are these Subarus good?
I live in Fargo, ND and am SO sick of my Taurus sliding around every winter. I think I want a Subaru with AWD, but I'm only 16 so my budget is low. I'm hoping to keep it under $7000 but I also want something newer than my current 1999 Taurus. Even like 2001 would be fine. So anyways, I'm down to the Legacy, the Impreza and the Outback being my last choice (not a fan of wagons). Which should I go for?

if your looking for a great Subaru, go with the Impreza. its an all around good car. You could even do better and find a WRX or an STI. They are better packages. The STI comes with a 305 hp Boxer. All models you stated are AWD so any of them would make a great winter car. Good luck!

You can't go wrong with any of them. However, if you are going to drive in the snow, invest in a good set of Winter tires. They will make all the difference between a good winter car and a great one.
