is yahoo mail down. i can not access my account?

For quite a few users mail has been down for many hours - meanwhile a message was posted on the official Yahoo Twitter blog: "We know some of our users are unable to use Yahoo Mail. We're on it & trying to restore access in a few hours. Sorry for the inconvenience."

User comments after the message was posted weren't exactly favourable...:-(

Note: one of my contacts also had this problem - he temporarily disabled Java scripting and could get into his mail account that way. And once he was in, he enabled Java scripting again - maybe this will help others too...

Mine has been down for over 24 hours. Can't access from the Laptop or the Phone (Android) App. Very Frustrating.

I haven't been able to access my mail for 2 days now. It says it's updating, but I thought it would only take a day. Or like 12 hours. I'm not too impressed!

Evidently Yahoo has been down all day. I have a business and if they don't get it up soon, I'll have to switch and start using my AOL a/c. Their's works better anyway.

Mine was down on my phone the last few days; so, I had to delete the account through my phone's setting and re-add my account for it to work.

Lots of us are down and Yahoo is not telling us what is going on.

I am using yahoo mail last ten years without any problems. But now totally fedup. my yahoo mail is not working since yesterday.Any news when it will be OK ?
