Is My Hymen Broken or Still Intact?
I'm 21 years old so I've been having my period for awhile now
I tried tampons once and it was hell taking it out so I figure that may have helped to break my hymen down
I'm a virgin but have been fingered and have had "the tip" in me if you know what I mean
After having the tip in me I spotted the rest of that day and it hurt a bit
I played soccer for almost a decade when I was younger
I've had a pap smear (spectrum) and other vaginal exam (nurses finger). I was sore for a few hours after but didn't spot/bleed
I still consider myself a VIRGIN but has my hymen broken a bit or do you think it's still fully intact? 2 fingers can fit maybe halfway up (compared to just one finger) if that helps. Thanks!
I know I'm still a virgin I'm asking is my hymen still completely intact or has it broken down a bit?

Well, if the 'tip' managed to reach that far then technically you had sex. Just technically. So you technically lost your virginity then. But otherwise if you don't take that seriously then you still are virgin. Hymen does not get torn completely at once, it does require rather vigorous intercourse. Things like tampons and fingering can only partially tear it. Hymen is just a membrane that is attached to the vaginal opening and covers it. You can tear a little part of it and the rest might still remain attached. It will be completely 'torn' after a lot of sex, not just in one go. But you might bleed every time until it is completely gone. Otherwise tampons don't break the hymen if you use them carefully and put them in and pull them out gently from the opening. Hymen usually stretches to accommodate the tampon. It is elastic and tampons are not as wide as erect penises. The tip did seem to have torn your hymen, I think you did not realize and more than the tip went in. Medical exams by a professional should not cause hymen breakage because doctors take care not to do that. I doubt you would have spotted or hurt after such an exam.
So my verdict is that your hymen did broke/tear a bit surely by the tip as you had bleeding and pain. But still there will some of it attached and you might bleed and hurt again if you have sex. Don't worry. And if the guy is mature he will not care about your hymen, although guys get a high from deflowering a virgin. Why don't you get a mirror and examine for yourself?? Or even better get a camera and take a few pics of your vaginal opening. Then you can zoom into the details!

Virgin means person with no sexual encounter. So I don't say you're not a virgin anymore! You are!!
But as we speak about your hymen well I'm sorry to say thats completely gone. By reading your context that's what I can get!
Google it you'll you see in the images that what's its like to having an unbroken and broken hymen!
And the most important thing don't you dare worry about anything! Your life has just started so enjoy and be happy!
