If Jesus were God, why did God make the flesh of Jesus, the body?

It doesn't make sense does it????? That's because Jesus is not God. Jehovah is God (Psalm 83:18) and Jesus is God's son (John 12:49). The majority of professed Christians always get this wrong. They believe that Jesus is god. However, how can you be two people???? If you have a child, that is two people. The child is not you and himself. If Jesus is god then when he got baptized who was it that spoke from Heaven??? If Jesus is god, why do the scriptures state that it is two separate people? That's because it is not true.

Jesus was born human, just like all of us. Only difference being that the Holy Ghost, spirit of God, took the seed of Joseph, (being the seed of David, his father), and placed it into a virgin, called Mary.

Because of the false teachings that Jesus existed before he was born, people made up all kinds of tails trying to show how that could be. None of it is written in Scripture. THE WORD OF GOD SPOKE from inside Jesus and that Word is what was with God, and what made the worlds. for God SPOKE and they came to be.

Jesus is not the one who created this universe. He created a new world, of CHRISTIANS.

Jesus is not God, but God made this same Jesus to be both Lord and Christ, calling Jesus God, and telling us to worship his SON. So, now, Jesus is our GOD. Now this IS WHAT SCRIPTURE SAYS.

There is no agreement. Whyskyhigh is a testimony. He says that Jesus is not God. Even among the world Christians there is no agreement on the godship of Jesus.

I really sympathise with the true Jesus for all the falsehood that are being peddled and attributed to him.

Given that Jesus - before He became human - "made everything that was made", in the beginning, Adam was created by Him. Have a read of John 1:1-29 and soak up the enormity of just who Jesus really is. AiH

A very easy question to answer. God is not a human being, God is a Spirit and nobody can look upon Him with instant death therefore God came to us in human form in the name of Jesus.

God the Father has a body of flesh and bones. Jesus helped to create this earth and is the God Jehovah. He came to earth to gain a body, to suffer for our sins, and to make possible the resurrection so that all of us can regain our bodies in an immortal condition, just like our Father in Heaven.

That's what the Bible teaches, and that is what the Mormons believe.

First of all Jehovah is a title not a name. Second of all GOD is not a person, he is an omnipotent being that manifested in flesh and became one with it for us to receive his promise of salvation and grace. Now to explain who JESUS is. JESUS was GOD 'manifested' in the flesh. The bible says we all have a soul, and that our soul belongs to GOD. So when Mary become pregnant she was impregnated by the HOLY GHOST. So when JESUS the man was born he was born without a physical father. When he was baptized GOD said this is my son whom i am well pleased, then his spirit came down on him like a dove. JESUS recieved the Holy Ghost. It was through the Holy Ghost that JESUS was able to do all the miracles he did, it was through the Holy Ghost that JESUS knew all the hearts of men, knew all things, and knew all truth about the Kingdom of GOD. JESUS always said the Father does the works, not him. JESUS' flesh and the spirit were seperate. When JESUS prayed in the garden he was praying that the cup pass him by, why? Because he knew what had to be done and the pain he would have to endure to save mankind. He was praying to the spirit. But he said at the end let your will be done not mine, GODs will or the spirit and not his the flesh's will. After he was crucified and resurrected by same power that worked all the miracles, Paul says that he was first descended, then he ascended, meaning first he went down and took the keys of the gates of Hell and took them from Satan, and then ascended back up. When the apostles first seen him they all tried to touch him, but he told them they couldnt yet touch him because he had not yet been glorified. Then later when he appeared to them again Thomas had said that he wouldnt believe until he touched his wounds. When JESUS appeared to the apostles again he let Thomas touch his wounds and Thomas said, "my lord, AND my GOD". Then after forty days with the apostles he then ascended into heaven. So lets recap this real quick. Up until now JESUS was still flesh, he died, then resurrected, went to hell and got the keys of hell, came back from hell, showed his self to the apostles, Thomas touched him and knew he flesh and blood, and even later JESUS sat with the apostles at the beach and ate fish for breakfast. So up until he was to ascend into heaven he was still flesh. When he went to heaven, the flesh and the spirit became ONE. Thus fulfilling what JESUS said in John 10:30, "I and the Father are ONE". JESUS was called the Son of GOD because he had no Earthly human father, but yet he was a Earthly human in flesh. He had GODs spirit. And the flesh and the spirit did not become one until all that had been prophesied by the prophets, which all the prophesies came from GOD, were fulfilled which is why JESUS said "It is finished" right before he died on the cross. For this reason is why he told the apostles, "I am the way and the life" and "to be of good cheer for I have overcame the world". JESUS was a flesh and blood man who had GOD's spirit in him(GOD manifested in the flesh) and when he ascended into heaven the spirit and the flesh became one, so that the promise of the Holy Ghost could come. Therefore JESUS is GOD. It wasnt until JESUS came that GOD had a name he only had titles. Paul said that JESUS name is above all others right? So how could a mans name be above GOD's unless it is GOD's name? And also Jehovah means a GOD who is always present, JESUS means Jehovah savior. And also when JESUS ascended he said to go in all the world and baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. So what is the name? Notice JESUS said in 'the name', meaning one name. Well the name of the Father cant be Jehovah and the Son's name be JESUS, if there is only one name right? Thats because the name is JESUS, and what would the name of the Holy Ghost be? JESUS said "I will send the comforter(the Holy Ghost) in MY name", whats his name? JESUS! And lastly, if JESUS told the apostles to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost why would Peter, whom JESUS built the church on and gave the keys to heaven to, say in Acts 2:38 to repent and get baptized in JESUS NAME if the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghosts name was not JESUS? And why is there nowhere at any time anyone getting baptized in anything other than the name of JESUS if he were not GOD? And why would the bible say JESUS himself is coming back to rule over the Earth and in Heaven if he were not GOD? And why would he tell John in the book of Revelation he was the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end if he were not GOD? Why is it JESUS will be our judge on Judgement Day if he is not GOD?

Jesus is not Almighty God for he proceeded out of Almighty God and became HIS ONLY begotten son. However, Almighty God bestowed upon his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON power to have life in himself, to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, restore sight to those born blind, and much, much, more, and give him a name above every other, mighty God, besides others. Jesus is a mighty God, but the Father himself is the Almighty God.

Jesus became flesh so that He could go through all temptations that humans go under, but not sin.

He did this so all who want eternal life can have it. =)

Jesus had to be fully human to take away the sins of humanity.
