x = 14

angle 1 = 110 degrees

angle 2 = 70 degrees.

solutions:

1. to find the value of x:

8x - 2 + 4x +14 = 180

8x + 4x = 180 + 2 - 14

12x = 168

x = 14

2. to find measure of angle 1:

angle 1 = 8x - 2

= 8(14) - 2

= 112 - 2

= 110 degrees

3.to find measure of angle 2:

angle 2 = 4x + 14

= 4(14) + 14

= 56 + 14

= 70 degrees.

>>I honestly wouldn't answer things like these since the seem like assignments but, I will take pity on you. I hope you know the basic rules in geometry and simple algebra. They're typically taught early on elementary. We learned that by grade 4. -if you're from any Asian country that is. :)
