Help finding a Quranic verse?

Can anyone point me to where it said to not tell people that they have the wrong faith? I don't mean the verse that says " Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it)". I thought I've seen a verse that mentioned it. I'd appreciate any honest answers.

Salam Based on the Qur'an 18:29 (surah 18 Al Kahfi verse 29) Allah says Please say (Muhammad):The truth is coming from Allah so if someone wants the faith let it and if someone wants to be kafir so let it.Really We have prepared hell for people who are cruel.

Besides that in part of 18:28 Allah says that you do not follow people who We have been neglected their hearts.

    You mean this:

' Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did.

    ( سورة الأنعام , Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #108)

  • "not tell people that they have the wrong faith" - you mean leaving them to live in falsehood?

is this the verse you are talking about? - "For you is your religion, and for me is my religion." -[Quran 109:6]

This verse is quoted out of context - we should always invite others to the truth - but if they reject the truth, we should move on.

Quran 16:82 Then, if they turn away, your duty is only to convey (the Message) in a clear way.

    Are you taking about this?

And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah , lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.(6:108)

And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place. -Sahih International

Say, "The truth is from your Lord": Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it): for the wrong-doers We have prepared a Fire whose (smoke and flames), like the walls and roof of a tent, will hem them in: if they implore relief they will be granted water like melted brass, that will scald their faces, how dreadful the drink! How uncomfortable a couch to recline on! -Yusuf Ali
