Can you give me any evidence that god exists?

There cannot be any genuine evidence that fictional characters are real ones.

1. I cannot feel any gods, and my experience is more valid than that of subjective believers.

2. Shifting the logical burden of proof only shows that believers have no logic and hate it.

3. "I do not know, therefore God did it", is not a valid argument. I can say, "Yu Ti did it", just as well. I could add Aristophanes' "oil can" and it would do as well as any gods.

4. Circular reasoning does not prove anything. What does 007 say about it?

Faith concerns questions which cannot be settled by evidence.

I feel bad that if someone does not have faith they would want others to agree with them!

How can the universe create itself out of nothingness? Given the fact that the universe began to exist, it must have had a “cause” that originated it.Doesn't it make more sense to assume the existence of a Creation. The question is tricky because it sneaks in the false assumption that GOD came from somewhere and then asks where that might be. The answer is that the question does not even make sense. It is like asking, “What does blue smell like?” Blue is not in the category of things that have a smell, so the question itself is flawed. In the same way, GOD is not in the category of things that are created or caused. GOD is uncaused and uncreated—He simply exists.

We know that from nothing, nothing comes. So, if there were ever a time when there was absolutely nothing in existence, then nothing would have ever come into existence. But things do exist. Therefore, since there could never have been absolutely nothing, something had to have always been in existence. That ever-existing being is what we call GOD ,GOD is the un-caused Being that caused everything else to come into existence. God is the uncreated Creator who created the universe and everything in it.

The universe requires a cause because it had a beginning, GOD unlike the universe, had no beginning, so he doesn’t need a cause. Einstein’s theory of general relativity, which has much experimental support, shows that time is linked to matter and space. So time itself would have begun along with matter and space. Since GOD is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time. Therefore He is not limited by the time dimension He created..@

Proofs for the Existence of God

1. Proof of Order:

In general, there is an order and a common law prevailing the universe.

The whole universe is functioning very systematically. Science is established based on this existing natural law.

If modern science is correct in saying that the universe began with a big bang, then had the rate of expansion been even fractionally slower or faster, life would not have been developed. The same precise order can be observed in every organism. Such a magnificent order leads us to the following theorem:

P.1: There is a precise order ruling the world.

P.2: Every precise order needs a precise and wise regulator.

Therefore: The world must have a precise and wise regulator; God.

2. Proof of Cause & Effect:

Instinctively, when we witness certain happenings we ask ourselves what caused them. While you are reading these sentences you have no doubt that they are written by someone. This instinct is called the law of cause and effect. How can we not but ask the same question in regard to the total sum of beings and phenomena which we discover in the world?

Moreover, modern science has confirmed the fact that the universe is expanding. The expanding universe cannot be infinite. Therefore, the last assumption is the only valid one, i.e. the world exists because it is related to an Eternal Being; God.

If I've asked it once of a skeptic, I've asked it a hundred times: what would it take to change your mind so that you become a Christian? I'm not sure I've ever gotten an honest and direct answer. Instead, I've gotten smiles, flippant statements of seeing a thousand-foot Jesus, and assertions that there is no evidence for Christianity (with acute attempts at avoiding what constitutes "evidence" for them).

For the Christian, it's easy to say what would evidentially crater our faith and worldview. But for many skeptics, there almost seems to be a deliberate attempt to not take the question seriously, which is unfortunate.

Some hard-core skeptics label themselves as "free thinkers" in contrast to what they see as the closed-mindedness of Christians. But is that really the case?

During a debate that occurred a few years ago between Dr. William Lane Craig and Dr. Mike Begon on whether God is real or a delusion, a member of the audience asked Dr. Begon (who took the position that God is a delusion) what type of evidence and criteria he'd require to believe that God is not a delusion. Begon stammered through an answer of how he and others like Richard Dawkins had been asking for evidence for a long time and, according to him, none has ever been brought forth. He then said he was "open minded" and offered to review any evidence offered him.

When Dr. Craig, who had been presenting evidence for Christianity all night, was allowed to respond, he asked the audience member, "You still haven't heard the answer have you? It's just astonishing!"

If you're a skeptic/atheist/agnostic reading this right now, ask yourself, "What is required to believe that God is not a delusion?" Would you answer in a similar, non-committal response like Begon, or would you offer something more concrete?

Philosopher J. S. Mill (not a Christian) summed up where we have now come to: “It is self-evident that only Mind can create mind.” The only rational and reasonable conclusion is that an eternal Creator is the one who is responsible for reality as we know it. Or to put it in a logical set of statements:

• Something exists.

• You do not get something from nothing.

• Therefore a necessary and eternal “something” exists.

• The only two options are an eternal universe and an eternal Creator.

• Science and philosophy have disproven the concept of an eternal universe.

• Therefore, an eternal Creator exists.

Former atheist Lee Strobel, who arrived at this end result many years ago, has commented, “Essentially, I realized that to stay an atheist, I would have to believe that nothing produces everything; non-life produces life; randomness produces fine-tuning; chaos produces information; unconsciousness produces consciousness; and non-reason produces reason. Those leaps of faith were simply too big for me to take, especially in light of the affirmative case for God's existence … In other words, in my assessment the Christian worldview accounted for the totality of the evidence much better than the atheistic worldview.”

Mostly all people doubt the Holy Word of God, The Bible.

But This little History lesson will enlighten all.

It starts with the Hittites. And a lack of evidence they ever existed. Then in 1908 a Archaeological discovery was made by John Garstang. The 400 year civilization of the Hittites Empire (1600-1200 BC). Since then so much has been discovered about the Hittite Empire, you can study all you want about them.

And it’s not just The Hittite evidence. All kinds off engraved stones or cylinders from other ancient civilizations verify other Biblical accounts. The Taylor Prism confirms the Assyrian siege of Jerusalem that the Bible describes in 2 Kings 19-19, 2 Chronicles 32, and Isaiah 36-37.

The discovery of the Tel Dan Stele confirms the existence of Israel’s King David. The Cyrus Cylinder records Cyrus of Persia’s decree that allowed Babylonian captives to return to their homes and resume their religious practices. The Moabite Stone proves the events of 2 Kings 3. This stone not only chronicles the rebellion led by Mesha King of Moab but even mentions the name Yahweh.

Jewish and Roman historians referred to the life and works of Jesus. Josephus wrote about Jesus’ miracles. And Pliny the Younger, an ancient ruler, recorded that Christians in his province maintained their belief in and the worship of Jesus even when faced with death. We have evidence that the Gospels were written by apostles or at least in cooperation with them. Irenaeus, a disciple of Polycarp, who was a disciple of the apostle John, Writes: as far as someone inserting into the Bible what they felt like. The Dead Sea Scrolls put that idea to rest. The earliest copies of the New Testament date back to 114 AD.

The only way primitive religion exists today is through the child abuse of forcing it into very, very young children but thanks to better education and growing intellects so many teens are able to discover the truth, throw off the indoctrination and step into the real world!

Academia states that in the absence of any sort of evidence of the existence of something it must be deemed not to exist until verifiable evidence is found - thus god is held not to exist pending some sort of verifiable evidence.

The bible is what is called "Faction" A fictional story set in a factual time and place. Thus the time, place and real historical characters are all correct but the fictional characters and stories are not!

There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!

There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!

He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?

Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!

At best he was an amalgam of those others but almost certainly never existed!

The Roman Emperor Constantine produced the bible and he was a pagan not god! He took the Jewish religion, organized it into Christianity and then into the Holly Roman Catholic Church!! Not in Israel or any of the countries of supposed origin but entirely ITALIAN!

Not one word of it is contemporary with the period and was not written until several hundred years after the period the story is set in!! How did the apostles write their books more than a hundred years after they would have been dead?

The first person to provide a shred of verifiable evidence for Jesus will become world famous and mega rich!

Your right to want to see evidence that God exists, let me tell you about his Bible that he gave to man so we could know he is real. First most people think of the Bible as one book but it actually a collection of 66 books, which is called the canon of scriptures. Second, these 66 books were written by 40 different authors. they came from a variety of backgrounds, shepherds, fishermen, doctors, kings, prophets, and more. And most of these authors never knew or collaborated with one another in writing these books. Third these 66 books were written over a 1500 years period. Fourth the 66 books of the Bible were written in 3 different languages, Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic. and finally these 66 books were written on 3 different continents, Africa, Asia, and Europe. What more this collection of books shares a common story line, God's universal love for all humanity. and a common message salvation is available to all who repent of there sin and follow Jesus Christ. Now there are no historical errors or contradiction and if you find it hard to believe that the Bible is the inspired word from God and you believe it not a supernatural origin then I have a challenge for you. I challenge you to go to any library in the world and find 66 books written by 40 different authors, over a 1500 tear span of time, they must share a common story line, a common theme, and a common message, with no historical errors or contradictions. If you can do that then I will say that I'm wrong and the Bible is not from God. But I believe you'll find it impossible !

We know God is who He claims to be because He’s done what He said He would do. That’s the whole point of prophecy and why studying it is so important to us. It’s God authenticating Himself.

For 6000 years He’s been describing things before they happened, so when they did His people would know that He was telling us the truth. Everything He said would happen in the past has happened, so it makes sense to believe that everything He said would happen in the future will happen.

God called King Cyrus of Persia by name in Isaiah 44:24-45:6 as His agent for freeing the Israelites from Babylon 150 years before he was even born. Daniel 9:25 prophesied Jesus' entry into Jerusalem on what would be the first Palm Sunday, to be 483 years after the decree to rebuild Jerusalem was given by King Artaxerxes Longimanus of Persia. That one was fulfilled to the very day. The decree was given in 445BC. The prophecy was given in 535BC, 90 years earlier. Alexander the Great refused to invade Jerusalem after the Temple High Priest showed him in the book of Isaiah the very dream he recently had that was written hundreds of years beforehand. You just can't make this stuff up.

There are over 300 Old Testament prophecies, all of them a matter of public record hundreds of years before the fact, predicting the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. The abundance and specificity of these prophecies demolish any notion of chance, exceed the requirements of statistical analysis, and prove more conclusively than any other fact of history that Jesus is the Son of God. In fact there is more hard evidence to prove that He is Who He claims to be, than there is that you are who you claim to be.

This is the unique and truly beautiful thing about the Bible. It stands alone among the so-called Holy Writings of the world, in its self-validating ability. Only the Bible tells the future with 100% accuracy. God knew we would be skeptical, unbelieving children. So early on, He began telling us things in advance of their occurrence so when what He said came true, we would be willing to believe Him. In this way we can be assured that our faith is justified.

In fact in Isaiah 44:6-8 God challenged anyone who claimed to be like Him to a two part test.  Part 1 is to accurately recount the past and part two is to accurately proclaim the future. Only God, who knows the end from the beginning  can do this.

Anyone who will put aside their pre-conceived notions and undertake an unbiased study of Old Testament prophecy can prove God’s existence beyond a shadow of doubt within a few hours. As God had Isaiah write, “I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.” (Isaiah 46:9-10)  No other so-called deity can make that claim. No other so-called deity has ever tried.

When you study Bible Prophecy and World History side by side it doesn’t require much faith at all to believe the Bible. The evidence in fulfilled prophecy is just too overwhelming. But don’t take my word for this, try it for yourself. The truth converts emotion to logic, adds knowledge to zeal, and makes your faith unshakable. Someday soon that kind of faith might well come in handy.

The only thing you can prove... the ONLY thing... is your own consciousness. And even that you can only prove to yourself. It is impossible to prove that everything in your life is not a figment of your imagination or an extended dream state. You can only believe that it isn't. Or believe that it is. Up to you.
