Life After Hands on Homeschooling?

I have a question for people who may have used Hands on Homeschooling as a preschool curriculum. But I've been thinking about where to go for first grade and beyond. I was looking at the Hearts of Dakota and thinking that that was fairly similar. Has anyone had any luck with that program? Or any other programs for that matter?

I use mostly Christian Light Education and have been happy with them for most subjects. We use Winter Promise for history. It's literature based with activities. Sonlight is similar but with more written response/narration instead.
