The trouble with being a rich idiot, attractive as it seems, is that you won't be rich for long - remember the old saying "a fool and his money is soon parted".

Here's the thing,

A poor scholar can still be considered an educated idiot.

A rich idiot may not have common sense, but we would HOPE if they did have a little bit of sense, they would go back to school and retain an education/degree.
