How long will this be contagious for?

I have a bacterial throat infection, not quite strep throat but still just as contagious. The doctor put me on antibiotics and I've been taking them for a little over 24 hours now.

How long will I be contagious for? My boyfriend came over today and we of course didn't kiss or anything but I don't want him to get it and I don't want to make the mistake of kissing him when I think it's fine but I'm actually still contagious.

    Hmmm better wait 3 days for it to not be contagious. That's how long it is for MRSA infection I believe. Should be safe at that point!

    You wont be better till you took all the antibiotics , make sure you do take them all else it will come back.
