Men do u choose woman based on looks or personality?

Firstly, I believe there's a difference between beauty and attraction. Many people are known to be beautiful (Naomi Campbell is a top model who is beautiful however I am not attracted to her at all). Attraction is deeper than just looks.

The fundamental basis of attraction initially is a very primitive one and men are drawn to women for having certain child bearing qualities such as vitality, energy, full lips, blush red cheeks and all the other stereotypical attraction stuff. But after the first hurdle is leaped over, the personality really matters the most. I mean, after your barb wire tattoo turns in to a picket fence in your 80's and your hair is like metal, I would want to have a best friend with me and not some trophy princess who I can't have a discussion with.

Don't get me wrong, we all love a woman who looks after herself;f but if the energy isn't right = then beauty isn't enough.

I am a man. I choose on the basis of character, intelligence, and looks.

Every one has different basis.

*If you look good then find a man who give preference to looks. If you are intelligent, then find a man who give preference to intelligence. And same for all other qualities.

*Ask him what is his criteria to choose a woman.

Do not lie to him saying you have that quality which he preferes. Leave him and search for someone else who preferes your primary qualities.

Looks is the first quality that attracts a man. But later you way of talking, character, habits, intelligence etc. start affecting the relationship. So concentrate on your look, but also improve your other qualities to improve your overall personality.

personality ,because based on looks is very over rated,i would rather have a woman with a PHD in nuclear physics and looks likes a run over CD case than looking like demi novato and the I.Q.of a rotten tomato.

I choose them based on whether they like me.

Looks attracts me to a person, but her personality would decide if I should pursue her further.

Combination of both. Pretty smile makes me want to walk beside you. Personality makes me want to hold your hand.

looks i all ways go for the not so good looking women they tend to have less self esteem and put out easier :/

looks draw me in but personality keeps me there.
