I'd play Podolski, his finishing is the best in the team and he worked excellently with O12 before Podolski got injured.
Santi is a little out of form and in my opinion would work best down the middle anyway, but with Ozil and the form of Ramsey, this is quite a problem now!
To give Giroud a rest, Podolski could play up front though in my opinion. I do think Podolski is the better bet to go in front of Cazorla though because you are right, he will link well with Ozil and Giroud and is a better goalscoring threat.

well i would play cazorla on the left wing, ozil just off giroud and walcott on the right wing as per usual, with podolski as a super-sub who can come on and play for both cazorla on the left or giroud through the middle when called upon, he is versatile which makes him a special player and arsenal more special as a team when they have these types of players. anyway with both podolski and walcott who can play as a lone striker i will never for the life of me understand this whole "what if giroud gets injured" crap!!!! and if giroud, podolski, and walcott all get injured then they ofcourse have an amazing player in bent-as-a-rubber-brush--ner don't they???? ;) lol also with all due respect to walcott i would play cazorla on the right wing instead of him if you really wanted podolski on the left wing, infact i think that is how i would do it now.....

I think we need one creative mid on the wing and a direct striker on the other wing, so if Walcott plays on the right, Cazorla plays on the left. But if Wilshere plays on the right, Podolski plays on the left. That way we have one clinical goalscorer who can put in crosses and we get the extra playmaker from the other side allowing for fluid football and interchanging positions.

We can't have Poldi and Theo on both wings though, the team won't have the right balance, with Cazorla wide left it means we can keep the ball better.

Definitely Poldi! I think Cazorla's best position is through the middle. He is more of a CAM.

podolski is a proven CF/LW player
Santi has been playing LW for a while now but he has not done very much and fails to play 90 mins

I think I love Carzola. He's more versatile and will find other ways to influence in the game when things are not going his way. Podo seems to be more one-dimensional.
