What speakers will fit into the dashboard of my truck? Please help!?
I have a 2001 GMC Sonoma w/ 3rd door. I know the speakers are size 4x6 but I cannot find any shallow enough to fit. Depth available is 1.521" and height available is 0.402". I have been searching and I cannot find any to fit.
Is there a 3.5" i could put in?

I've been looking around for a while, but I can't find any decent 4x6s with a mounting depth that shallow.
If you could fabricate a bracket to give yourself just an extra half inch, it would give you many, many more possibilities.
The Kicker DS46, for example, has a mounting depth of 1 7/8".
