Anyone else think that yahoo answers should add a Mixed Martial Arts section?

Seems to be a lot of MMA questions that don't get many answers. Should they just add a section for it? The have boxing and wrestling after all.

well spitting it up is not going to help get more answers for mma questions. and also i see just as many tma questions not getting answered or with few answers as well,

its not as easy as just popping in another section, they would have to edit a database they can barely keep stable as it is. it would be quite time consuming and costly and considering yahoo in general over the last few months had a huge drop in questions i doubt it would be even justified.

you can see it in the number of question ask. in this section alone the question dropped in half since they changed there layout. and you can see significant drops in activity's in all the other sections.

besides most of the technique questions from mma can be answer by either

To answer the question, I think TMA and MMA combined is the best way to go, its hard to explain but... like sambo. Sure, stick to tradition, but also constantly evolve and only use what works. So because making two sections, for traditional and mixed martial arts, would not do that, no I do not think it would be the best idea. I do not think too many intelligent individuals would answer on it.

@Aaron, you have dedicated your life to being a pathetic, unsuccessful troll (don't deny it, its in your about me!), to a happy, jolly troll who thrives upon chaos yet still is capable of giving a decent answer every now and then. Please renounce your bully ways and move on with your life!

If they did the same trolls would still harass us. MMA can co-habitat with TMA, but some people don't want that. If they added another section, people would still post in the same wrong categories with the same questions.

This is a mostly forum itself is mostly traditional martial artist anyways, I do agree with what KW said, a punch is a punch it doesn't matter if the intention behind practicing it is to win a fight or win a trophy its still gonna hurt. I do feel however that they should be seperated because if ANYBODY disagrees with what traditional martial artist believe in here then you will get thumbed down instantly and possibly reported.
