Tension arm pulley clicking?
So i hear this clicking under my hood and i look to see what it could be with it running popped the hood and noticed the tension arm pulley is moving slightly and clicking, i know its supposed to be pretty tight cause it applies pressure to the belt and keeps it in place, the belt doesnt seem to move or jump that much but still bad i know. Its christmas and im broker than a........ I do my own work on my car but dont get paid For 2 more weeks, think ill make it?
My power steering pump does leak, wonder if that has something to do with it

Take the belt off and check pulley for free play.Replace if necessary.

Check the tensioner with the belt off. It might be the bearing on the tensioner and while the belt is off check all other components to ensure nothing else is loose or worn out.

Probably you'll be fine, but no guarantees. Those tensioners wear out about as fast as the blest do. Might not be the tensioner bearing -- if AC compressor pulley is loading erratically, for instance, it will show at tensioner -- the spring will absorb the jerk, and you'll see it there instead of at source.

Hi, its really a crap shoot on how long it well last... Check the belt over good too as it might be the belt comming apart..
